Instructions:

  1. Pat the whole scallops dry and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat, melt butter, then add minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add scallops and sear 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
  4. Finish with a few drops of lemon juice and sprinkle parsley before serving.
