Chicken Abalone Soup

INGREDIENTS:
- 7 frozen abalones
- 1/2 chicken
- Jujube (red dates), goji berries
- Sliced ginger
- Seasoning to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- After defrosting the abalones, separate the meat from the shells and blanch the chicken.
- In a pot, combine the chicken, abalone shells, red dates, and sliced ginger. Cook for 50 minutes.
- Add the abalone meat and goji berries, and cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Finally, season with a bit of salt to taste.
Tips for Cooking Abalone:
- For stir-frying: Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
- For braising: Simmer for 30-45 minutes in a rich broth.
- For steaming: Heat for 5-10 minutes to warm it through.
