Tobiko Salad Recipe

 Serve chilled as an appetizer or a refreshing side dish for sushi and seafood meals.

Ingredients:

  • 50g Tobiko (Flying Fish Roe)
  • 80g mixed salad greens (lettuce, rocket, frisée)
  • ½ cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ¼ red onion, finely sliced
  • 2 tbsp Japanese mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sesame dressing or roasted sesame sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Tobiko Salad Recipe

Instructions:

  1. Wash and drain the salad greens thoroughly.
  2. Arrange salad greens, cucumber, and red onion in a bowl.
  3. Mix Japanese mayonnaise, sesame dressing, and lemon juice to make the dressing.
  4. Gently toss the salad with the dressing.
  5. Top with Tobiko just before serving.
  6. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
